29th Annual The Arc Walk for Independence

March 29, 2025

In March of every year, The Arc Los Angeles and Orange Counties hosts The Annual Arc Walk for Independence at the Stonewood Center in Downey, CA. Participating individuals walk either a one- or a three-mile course to raise awareness, advocacy, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities’ (IDD) full inclusion in our Los Angeles and Orange County communities. This is The Arc’s largest annual event, drawing over 3,000 community members, families, Arc participants, and community leaders to come together in support of the IDD community. Groups make and carry signs to promote their companies or businesses, support their family member with IDD, or even celebrate their favorite sports team. Registration includes breakfast and a commemorative button, and adult registrants also receive a T-shirt. Lots of other swag is available for purchase, as well. Proceeds from the Walk directly benefit individuals with disabilities served by The Arc. Registration will be opening soon!
